SUSTAINABILITY
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

CULTIVATING LOCAL CIRCULAR ECONOMIES

Plant Chicago is a non-profit organization established in 2011 committed

to cultivating local circular economies. Plant Chicago is working to make our cities healthier and more efficient by developing and sharing the most innovative methods for sustainable food production, energy conservation

and material reuse.

My role:

One of my main goals was to create clear, concise, and easy to understand marketing materials and information. I designed materials for the day to day activities of Plant Chicago, as well as larger events, such as CLFF, the Closed Loop Forum and Fest. Many of these materials were targeted towards local spanish-speaking neighborhoods, and therefore, needed to cater to both English and Spanish speakers.

PROJECT COMPONENTS:

Expanded printed information for Plant Chicago, especially targeting sponsors and schools.

Created a bilingual piece for neighborhood communities detailing Plant Chicago's Farmers Market.

Designed signage and new branding for the annual fundraising and educational event.
